Kevin Oderman, writer

Kevin Oderman is collector of Morris chairs and Persian carpets, a laconic raconteur, a scholar of Ezra Pound, an aficionado of snoodles, and the author of varied but always sharply seen poems and fictions. His latest novel is White Vespa (Etruscan Press, 2012)

Two quotes that capture two of his many faces: as a writing teacher he said: “It’s much better than the last draft. It’s still not good, but it’s much better.”

And as a drinking buddy, he once told me, “We’re dancing out of bottles now.”
