They’re coming! Tour de France

They have finished the Giro, the Dauphine, and the Tour de Suisse. They are resting now, they are packing on a few calories, and they are sorting out who will do what. They start in Yorkshire, but Wigo is out. Contador is watching the World Cup and has transferred his allegiance to Mexico, now that Spain has funked like France did. But they are coming. Rather than L ‘Alpe de Huez, shown here above, they will climb Col de Tourmalet. Just the best known pass on one of the hardest Tours in decades, with a record number of climbs and a killer time trial. Just as soon as the World Cup finishes.
